Wade is a local boy, growing up in Sherwood Park. For twenty-five years he has coached local sports including basketball, hockey, running, and baseball. His coaching has taken place in a variety of venues: school sports, camp settings, and of course his own kid’s sports teams. For eight years, Wade also directed a drop-in centre for skateboarders and bmx’ers.
Vocationally Wade has worked as a local pastor specializing in the area of family, kids, youth, and young adults. He is married to his high school sweetheart, and they have three children.

Leanne has grown up in Sherwood Park and she acquired her Bachelor of Commerce from the U of A. She loved playing school sports growing up, especially volleyball. Leanne and her husband have two kids. Leanne loves to meet new people, see people connected to a healthy community where they can grow and be supported.

Jon comes to us from the small town of Shawnigan Lake on Vancouver Island. Growing up, he played many sports, including basketball, rugby, lacrosse, volleyball, track and field, and cross-country. He played rugby for the University of British Columbia and graduated with a Bachelor of Secondary Education from the University of Alberta. He

He has coached basketball since 2012 through various summer camps and school teams.
Jon has worked for the past six years as a teacher in Strathcona County and is married to his wife, Sydney.

Jordan has played over 15 years of competitive hockey. As a player, he has experience learning from some of the top hockey coaches in Canada. Jordan has coached and played multiple sports, such as basketball, volleyball, golf, and many others. He also has multiple years of experience working with kids at summer camps.

Landon has played over ten years of competitive hockey. He has played multiple sports growing up and has multiple years of experience working at summer camps. Landon has a passion for helping kids in their growth in sports and their personal development. He is excited to provide an environment at Encounter Sports of inclusion and cooperation built on hard work.

Sarah has been playing hockey for 13 plus years, spending Bantam and Midget years playing AAA and elite hockey. She attended scouting
camps in both Canada and the US, and travelled to New Zealand to participate in a hockey
exchange camp.
