Registration for 2024 SUMMER basketball CAMPS is open

day camps

These camps are geared toward players of all skill levels who want to both improve their skills and have fun. Each player will receive over 17 hours of court time each week. Court time will focus on skills-based learning through a mixture of instruction and games. Off-court time will include team sports like street hockey or outdoor basketball, team-building fun, physical training, and classroom learning focusing on basketball IQ, character development, leadership, and personal health. 


Camp Details

  • Indoor shoes and athletic clothing are required. A change of clothes for the afternoon is suggested.
  • Registration includes an Encounter Sports reversible basketball jersey.
  • Players need to bring a bagged lunch for Monday-Thursday. Microwaves will be available.  The camp provides hot lunch on Friday. Players are recommended to bring a snack for the morning and afternoon each day.
  • Players are to be dropped off at Heartland Alliance Church in the mornings. Bussing is provided to the gymnasium in the morning as well as back to Heartland mid-day.

  • Cost: $199 per player
  • Limited capacity per camp

             July 8-12  -  11U (2013, 2014) & 13U (2011, 2012)


            July 15 - 19  -  13U (2011, 2012) & 15U (2009, 2010)  


            July 22 - 26  -  13U (2011, 2012), 15U (2009, 2010) & 18U (2006, 2007, 2008) 


  • For all camps, Monday - Friday drop off is 7:45 am at Heartland Alliance.
  • Monday - Thursday pick up is 3:30 pm at Heartland Alliance.
  • Friday pick up is 3:30 pm at  Edmonton Intercultural Center gymnasium.


Players will be grouped on and off the court with similarly skilled players.

skills camps

This week of camp is designed around the following types of fundamental skills of basketball to help players develop their game:

  • Passing
  • Ball handling
  • Shooting
  • Rebounding
  • Change of direction


These camps are recommended for players who want to experience a fun and supportive environment. Participants will enjoy engaging instruction and challenging drills while benefiting from a high coach-to-player ratio.


Camp Details

  • Indoor shoes and athletic clothing are required.
  • Registration includes a camp t-shirt.

  • Cost: $65 per player
  • Limited capacity per camp


August 6-9 Skills Camps

All sessions are Tuesday-Friday at Edmonton Intercultural Center gymnasium.


  • 7U, 9U, 11U – 10:45 am - 11:45 am
  • 13U, 15U – 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

competitive DAY camps

The goal of these camps is to enhance players’ skill levels and sharpen their decision-making abilities, helping equip them for open gyms in the fall, fall basketball leagues, and their junior/senior high basketball tryouts.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Over 30 days prior to camp start date:  Refund of total camp costs paid minus a $15 administration fee.
  • 14-30 days prior to camp start date:  50% refund of total camp costs.
  • Within 14 days of camp: No refund.
